Our belief at the beginning of a doubtful undertaking... - 1:24 PM, Oct. 12, 2006 |
"Our belief at the beginning of a doubtful undertaking is the one thing that assures the successful outcome of any venture."
Can we subsitute "Intention" for the word "belief" to fully understand what William is saying? Our intentions are what make or break a venture that we are creating... Tim |

Self confidence - 10:54 AM, Oct. 13, 2006 Edit Delete
And I guess this is why it is so important to instill confidence in our children, so that they BELIEVE that they can make things happen. My 6 year old son just saw the movie The Secret. He then decided he wanted 10 gold coins (10 dollar coins).
He listened to what came into his head, and requested that we put up a lemonade stand the next day. It was cold, so we did hot cocoa instead, right in front of our house for 2 hours. I thought he would be lucky to make $5, but he actually made $16.35 . We'll now go to the bank and convert $10 of those dollars to dollar coins.
He's flying high now, and loving that he can control making things happen in his life
